What is Voluntary Simplicity?

Voluntary simplicity is not about doing without. In fact it's just the opposite -- it's about having enough. Enough intimacy with others and with nature, enough sense of purpose and fulfilling work, enough fun and joy. Voluntary simplicity is about living life fully, of experiencing life as a whole human being. It's also about caring for the earth and people throughout the world who truly do not have enough.

Merry Christmas to All

ChristmasGreeting

All’s well here at the homestead.  Just pecking away at the massive labor of love that is this new house.  I have managed to put together some holiday cheer amongst the unpainted walls and unpacked boxes.

I wanted to chime in and wish you all the happiest of holidays and may all you enjoy your family and friends this season.  Relax, eat a LOT and we’ll see you in the new year!
