Anyway, here's part of the great old linens I found last week at the thrift. I was especially giddy over the green and peach rose pillowcases. I've never found any quite like them. They are unique and rare. The rose print in the background is a twin sized sheet with the prettiest pattern on it. And I'm always excited to find these border print pillowcases.
I have finally gotten over the trepidation of cutting into my beloved fabrics. Those of you that sew know that feeling when you find some really nice fabric and you can't bring yourself to cut into it and it can sit there for years! I've done it so much that my fabric collection is getting bigger and bigger and nothing's getting made with it. No more. I cut into this stuff right away and made another note taker/journal. I really like this one! I'll be listing it tomarrow.
I figured out a way to make the top of the notepad coordinate with the fabrics. You can see it in my Etsy shop right now!
